Which 'Management' would that be then?  ;D

Isn't sanity just an average measure based on the persons available? Which means all like-minded persons grouped together are "normal", at least that's the reasoning I give to my wife when she talks about crazy men and their models......

Collected my AW-169 off Stu in person at SMW.

Wow, what a superb 3D printed kit, parts all bagged, all well thought out parts breakdown , with fantastic detail, Assembly is almost snap fit,  Detailed cockpit, detailed landing gear and undercarriage bays, posable air brakes and flying surfaces. clear crisp vacform canopies. Optional belly tank and alternative load between wing tip missiles or drop tanks.

Instructions are great including diagrams, and assembly is straightforward and a pleasure to build.

Dan Sharps Cold War Interceptor book or magazine is an essential reference.

Very much Recomended, now i just need to determine scheme and markings

Glad you're enjoying the build. High praise indeed from yourself, thank you.

Agreed, plus I believe Lightning squadrons would also be valid. Certainly when I look back through varied squadron histories there are certain trends I spotted:

1- certain squadrons always seemed to re-equip with the latest and greatest (i.e. 56 Sqn, 1 Sqn etc)
2- several Javelin squadrons (5 Sqn, 23 Sqn etc) re-equipped with Lightnings down the line. I assume since it was reclassified as an All-Weather fighter when it went to production, just never being reassigned to "FAW" status.

Obviously F155T was a dedicated All-Weather fighter, so would doubtlessly replace Javelin in general. But since it was supposed to be faster and carry more devastating weaponry, it would likely have supplanted the EE Lightning in part I believe.

As an aside, I wonder would any of the Meteor NF 11-14 squadrons be valid too?

Yes, they would, many of them re-equipped with Javelin and most of those that didn't would be viable. There's two Modeldecal sheets with lots of options.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

F.155 was for a Javelin replacement.  When it got canned, Lightning F3/6 became the Javelin replacement as it had the more capable Red Tops.

Of course, but if F155T had appeared in service they wouldn't have built as many Lightnings realistically. Anyway, its all WhatIf, so (almost) anything goes...

When a type has been replaced, I can't think of a time when the Squadrons have exactly matched. Certainly several may be carried over, but there's often a few that may become free having been disbanded and a type may drop into that gap.
