Quote from: Dizzyfugu on October 29, 2024, 04:46:22 AMIt (also) looks a lot like a military vehicle from "(Fang of the Sun) Dougram", a real-robot anime TV series from the 80ies. The cockpit shape totally matches other vehicles like the "Duey" attack helicopter:

I used to have one of those, from the Revell reboxing of the kits.

Now it looks Russian.  Like a developed Su-25 Grach.

That's what I was thinking
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

More progress, this time a view at the beast's belly, and painting has started, too. Hardpoints were added, as well as the landing gear (with a new twin front wheel arrangement), as well as a gun and some antennae for a final touch.

Yes, exactly what came to mind... ;)

The camo he's wearing could be a good suggestion for a paint scheme...  ;D
Looking good, Thomas!

Paint scheme is inspired by the JASDF C-130s, or at least this livery here:

What l'm thinking is a bit more obscure. The hump of the cockpit and short nose reminds me of the HAL Kiran jet trainer.
Whatever.

Funny how many associations this things brings to the light. With the enlarged LERXs it also has a bit a Yak-130 trainer?
