Right..an idea I've had for ages ...as the title says ..a Mossie on floats but with landing gear too.
So it can do the water and land landing bit ..it can also land on hard ice with either wheels or the floats but that's not really recommended 🤔.
Hard ice isn't great for softish metals 😊

Anyways since I wrenched my left thumb opening my coffee jar this will be a placeholder for a minute or two 🙃

I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

That's an interesting idea. Where are you getting the floats from?

;D  ;D ..a 1/32nd scale Roden Cessna Bird dog ..they might need a bit of work here and there ..but then again..maybe not  ;)

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Shouldn't be to much of a mission really bud...I managed to mount floats on that triple engined P-38 thingy so this should be easyish  ;D
Famous last words of course 😆
The hardest part will be a very good paint job and getting that mojo going to do it .

So 1/32 scale floats, what scale is the aircraft?

Lets agree to disagree on that. Inch High Private Eye was the only American in 1/72 scale, though these days he appears to have bee supersized to 1/48  :-\

Right chaps things have changed and it's because my mind went a wandering today when I was modifying a shelf .
Sitting on said shelf is a full built Lockheed Ventura in 48th and I was holding it and lookin ...lookin and holding it ..then click .
I've never made a Ventura kit before..this already made one was scored in a deal ...I have built a Mosquito tho.
So this is gonna be the build lads .

I picked up a 1/72 Ventura at my club's show last month. However I'm experiencing a float shortage these days.

Agreed Ken..floats are few and far between here to ...if I do another 48th float plane I'm probably gonna have to scratch build em .
I didn't know this until I really looked at this kit yesterday..it's a Revell model by the way...it has Canadian decals  ;D
The decals are for a RCAF Ventura No 2195  of 149BR squadron..Prince Rupert..British Columbia  1943

Try here:

Course, you'll still need someone/somewhere that can print them.
Maybe one of the membership that has a printer could run a side hustle providing same? Just a stray thought.

Rick, I checked out that site and only one thing caught my eye..yep that float ...that could be printed in any real size ya wanted 😉
I'm liking that mate ..nice one

I'll very likely start messing around with this today ..ive been slapping the M911 C-HET with 64ton Talbert trailer together and holy poop pickles 😳
The tractor is a big rig but the trailer is massive compared to my other 3 35th scale transporters .
It's that big it can carry a M1A2 Abrams with room to spare ..shame it can't actually carry one
I built this because I need the box to store the goodie bits from 3 others
