... so i spend some time on this, installed the massive engines to complete that basic structure.
A lot of very small details to do and waiting for the commando cupola.

Organized some figures for a small scene at the end .

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

If I ever come across one of those hulls I'm going to grab it. Lots of possibilities.

You are absolutely right, i love that shape, it could even be a big cruiser in 1:72 or 48. And it could go in both directions !

Until this evening i have added around 30 different parts from the stash to the hull, and in the end it would be more than 60 pieces at all before i start the paint job.

Or turn it upside down!

Or turn it upside down!

THAT would be the most complicated way 😆

I found a fellows website a while ago displaying his sci fi spacecraft models. Most of them involved taking a ship hull or airliner fuselage and turning it upside down and backwards. Make a few cuts and add a bunch of extra parts and they looked pretty good.

It need some nights of work just preparing these tiny little parts all over the tank , 50 parts are done...

Today we had to watch the vendee globe start show, pushing all thumbs for our local heroe Boris Hermann 👍, and let all the glue dry until i can continue.

So i show you some pics of the engine build , maybe interesting for some visitors.

At the rear end i place a small base inside for the exhaust tube.

The cutted nose is reversed and glued into the front, and after a good time of drying you can work on the shape of the intake...

There's going to be a high demand for fuel tanks after this lesson on how to whiff them! Well done!

Thank you, it is my pleasure to share that with you.
I've build so many of these engines and like that style very much.  Also the main light housing here is made from a rocket ( glas will be added later after paint ) .
And, after some unpleaseant tryouts, i have decided to use only Polystyrol parts for a perfect connection ...

And a solar ray gun on top is also mounted, plus antenna on the engine pod.
