Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Oh-kay ... Let's hope I don't disappoint!

There's not going to be much in the way of mod's (if any) to the vehicle, it's more a "paint scheme" whif.

The big challenge is that I have two M1296 Dragoon ICV's, an M1130 TACP/CV, three M1126 ICVs (although I think they should be called APCs - one with CROWS-J mounted) & one M1132 ESV (with mine plow) to build, paint in the same scheme & display as a combat team.

I'm tossing up whether to use Land Rovers or Humvees as the light vehicle element, or, maybe, Jackals & Coyotes. I may even pop in a few LAV-IIIs and/or ASLAVs.

As I said, a big challenge, which will probably go over two or three years (if I'm lucky).

Here's the force (minus repeats) if I use Land Rovers (my preferred choice) & Jackals/Coyotes;

Land Rover, Land Rover !!!

Be shure to have my attention , please

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep .
Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Old Wombat

Thank you, gentlemen!

The Land Rovers are my preferred option, & I may have enough in the Wombat Stash for what I need (unless I'm one or two short, then I'll have to sneak in a couple more).

Yes, if only I could blame this on having insanity run in the family ... Unfortunately, it's all down to me!

Womby mate there's one machine you seem to have forgotten...of these dudes are Australian then they'd use the Bushmaster MRAP  but I'm  a serious fan of the Jackel and Coyote recon vehicles and I'm gonna get both 😉 😜
Just me ya done sant to go into combat in a WMIK..zero protection  ;)

There was a nice WMIK here in Hannover at the local military meeting this summer, and you can see the massive protection at the door

( The owner was deployed at Sennelager training ground and could collect all the parts over many years  )

Oh yeah ...fantastic protection from a airsoft gun that armour 😆 🤣 😂
I'm my time I've seen some really messed up WMIKs  ..so glad I've never had to use one for its intended purpose 🙂
Even tho we did use the old Toyota hilux  and landcruiser a few times

The Landy's aren't combat vehicles, they're light recce vehicles! With the Jackals & Coyote in support ... Just remember not to bite off more than you can chew!

The LAV-IIIS/ASLAVS are "heavy" recce. (Rather than buy another LAV-III (or two), I'm saying the unit is in a transitional phase while the ASLAVs are being replaced by the better armoured LAV-IIIs).

Behind them are the Strykers.

Remember, this is an airborne unit, everything is light compared to a full-on armoured unit.

A-and, time for some basic photo's!

I've finished the basic hull work &, although there are a whole bunch of bits still to add, this is where I'm pausing the hull for now & moving on to the turret.

Anyway, enough waffle! It's pic's time:

Basic photo's of a basic way-point but I figured it was appropriate.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
