I really like to build smoooooth intakes and stuff like that. But this time different .

Here is another one of my brilliant top notch ideas.
Closing gaps with sheet instead of putty.

Better to think about both sides before  :banghead:

Outside:

Inside ( Cockpit Area ) .

Three hours of work later the cockpit is cleaned and shaped for the clear part to fit nice. Not the easiest thing to imagine i can tell you.

And that's exact the look i wanted, had a little bit luck with that, to many corners, a lot of angles and rounds to take care for.

Shaping up nicely. Any particular reason a Pharaoh/Ancient Alien sponsored it? I mean, I never saw a docking bay for something like this in any of the pyramids...

Maybe that's the Secret of the Sphinx? It is said to have an unexplored cavity inside.  ;D
Cheers.

No, there is no special reason. It is just so that me and Lady K. are very interested in that stuff,  and we have a famous writer here in germany, Erich von Daenicken, who wrote some books about prehistoric spaceships and lost science and stuff.

Think it could finally be good as a theme.

Do you know about the Ancient Aliens TV series? We get it on Blaze channel, but I am sure it can be found elsewhere. They go into a lot of archaeology, much of it little-known sites that the main channels never bother with, and then go off into the "Was it built/helped by aliens?" gig. I confess I am sceptical of much of their spin, but one cannot rule out all of it - and the archaeology is truly fascinating.

And of course the opportunities for Whiffing are endless ;D
Cheers.

Gondor

Most of the "was it built by aliens" is because they have no clue how man could have built them.

Ancient peoples were not as stupid as most of these supposed experts say. Plus they had lots of time to do it. People were pretty ingenious and persistent.

It's racism.  These so called experts can't accept that non-white peoples could have achieved anything white people didn't.

Oh, they are not above reinterpreting White Male cultural artefacts. Stonehenge, for example.
I have never seen any evidence that say Von Däniken was a racist. I don't think he hated say the (White male) neolithic Irish tomb builders, and he gave them the same treatment as their brown-skinned transatlantic brethren. Nope, fantastical pseudoscience and Whiffy fodder perhaps, but not racism.
Cheers.

I could read EvD in his original language and never thought he would be anything like a racist, that's nonsense   .

So what time in ancient Egyptian history?  You've thousands of years of history, many eras, dozens of dynasties to play with.  Early, Middle, Late, or Greek periods; probably not during either Intermediate period due to the relative instability of government.
Maybe built after the (original) Battlestar Galactica fleet arrived?  Their flight helmets were meant to invoke pharonic garb, and I assumed they were meant to be a founding influence on the early Egyptians (Galactica 1980 notwithstanding, and ignoring the Mormon origins of the BG series.)
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

There is special german, always running, Gag here in our country, based on a famous Comedian called "Loriot" , and the answer is...
Egypt !?

And they had plenty of slave labour to get the job done.

So you go for the BSG origins rather than SG1?
