This is a quick repurposing of an older build.
So far it does not appear that the Wiesel has been delivered to the Ukraine, but what if the Germans sent some surplus Wiesels and the Ukraine engineers used the Javelin instead of the fitted TOW launcher of some vehicles
(edit.. well Zenrat found one. also seen that report disputed as well, so gets down to who you believe on the internet I suppose.)
I have a couple of old Wiesel builds, raging from the original AFV Club Release to the TOW version. Both pre loved and past their prime.
Plus a set of NATO weapons that has Javelins and Stingers

Decided to Modify the TOW version as it makes more sense, plus has an interior. Why swap the TOW for Javelin, maybe the generational difference or perhaps getting reloads

Next will be a repaint and repair of falling offing bits. This one does have a full etch set as well

Went for a simple rack mount, so the weapon can be dismounted as well, so still manual reloads as designed. Sort of just adding mobility

Dug up an ancient photo relic, the original Dio I had the Wiesel in way back in 2006. Lots of broken Dio rules there compared with today  :o

Nice, and plausible enough :)

(One request: can you please fix the consistent spelling error in the vehicle's name? :) English speakers for some unclear reason have great difficulty distinguishing <ie> from <ei>, and you got them the wrong way round :))
... I know all this and more ...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Wiesels are cool. Wanted to build one as a load for my recent Do 36 transporter, but ran out of mojo... The kit(s) are still there, though.

One good reason for swapping to Javelin from TOW, is the fire-&-forget capability - makes shoot-&-scoot much easier & quicker (very useful in a hot environment).

And re: the old dio ... Rules are made to be broken! ;)

I wonder how many of these vehicles are in the hands of  other collectors and museums that could be sent to Ukraine.

I'll bet not many Ken ...it's one of those vehicles which ya just very rarely see ..which is a shame cause I want one  ;D
It's actually one kitset I've never had..it's always had a stupid price tag here and I know none of you blokes would pay 65 and up notes for one cause I sure as hell don't..nor when I can get a Leo 2 A7 for 40  :o
I'm gonna enjoy this Buzzy mate 😃

Ol Womby is dead right ..the TOW is a lethal piece of kit but it's wire guided ..it's name is TOW ..Tube launched..Optically sited ..Wire guided ......Javalin ain't..it's also a much lighter weapons system and you can store more missiles inside too...makes the Wiesel even faster aswell...so cool across the boards 😎 😀
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I checked these out and I wasn't sure if they were using it for an ammunition supply runner or actual Javelin launcher. Probably depends on what's in range....
