A little bit of progress on the ski gear.

I had to ditch the cowling I had chosen after a chunk broke off while I was cutting cooling flap slots.  It was an ancient Revell Condor cowling moulded in a very fetching duck egg blue.  Brittle as F.
A bit of digging around produced a replacement.  Modern Airfix so it's better styrene and better detailed.  No engine to go with it but the Hasegawa kit one will fit.

More progress on the ski gear but I seen to have got one wing drooping.
It might have been better to have realised this before I did all the PSR.
I checked but with the asymmetric tail it was hard to pick it until I got the ski support leg attached giving me another reference to line them up with.
I shall attach the root with a saw and jam some styrene offcuts into the resulting gap.

This may sound a tad mad but it looks like a Brewster-designed Klingon Bird of Prey.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I can see that.  But only if its flying backwards.

The mad butcher of Midsomer Sheddington struck today hacking frenziedly at the roots of the port wing with a razor saw until it was held on by mere threads.
It's since been reangled to what I think is correcter.  I also took the opportunity to tweak the horizontal tails from their one up one down dangle angle to something more level.

Since the last post I have;
Re-PSRed the port wing.
PSRed the tail wheel doors.
Glued the engine into the new cowling and the cooling vents in place.
Completed the main ski support structure and glued the ski in place (that's the biggie).
Begun constructing the two smaller stabiliser skis.
Started writing some gibberish.  This has involved much consulting of Google translate for Finnish and Swedish words to use...

That mono-ski looks VERY impressive!

Will it have little tip-skis as well?
