That's almost exactly the scenario I have in mind for my Vautour builds  As part of this renewed Entente Cordiale the Armee De L'Air get Canberras.

They did have Canberras, albeit only six of them, they flew with their trials units IIRC.

Ah, now you mention it my minds eye has resurrected a vague memory

If we're lucky it could be a simple brand rationalisation, to reduce the costs of marketing & packaging, with everything rolling into the Special Hobby brand (it is on the up as a brand name).

Agreed. And they would be stupid to get rid of the moulds.

I must build my Vautour.  Wonderfull looking aircraft and I love how the outriggers fold up into the nacelles.
I have no whiff ideas though other than paint it a different colour.

Maybe a night fighter for Honduras?

Mine, up to now will be one of the few unarmed aircraft in Honduras's airforce. It will either be an electronic war are training aircraft or an inflight refuelling tanker also involved in training pilots to do inflight refuelling. So it could also get a lairy paint job too.

Vautour de mer - folding wings and Exocets.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Nice idea Fred

More obscure weapons from CMK, this time IMI (Israeli) 80mm rockets. Not sure of the (possibly murky) relationships here, but 80mm was also the calibre of the Hispano/Oerlikno SURA rockets that were a popular alternative to RP3s on export Hunters (although those have sliding wings and no launch rails) :

Also, small rocket pods (68mm SNEB?) designed to fit Israeli Magisters (as are the 80mm ones):

This came through on one of my regular updates this morning. All I'll say is that some of this 3D printed stuff is getting amazing  :o

Given there's been some chat about drones & launchers recently it seems apt that CMK have just released this 3D printed kit

https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/129-P72035?result-token=Kso2B

MQM-74A Chukar 'Target Drone' Finely detailed, 3D-printed model of the Chukar target unmanned aerial vehicle, or a drone, that had been developed in the 1960s. To get to the air, the drone used a tripod launcher structure, either ground or vessel based. This tripod is also portrayed in our kit. The Chukars
were used by the US Navy, British Royal Navy, a couple of NATO countries and also by Israeli military. The decal sheet offers you the possibility to build one of as many as six various and colourful schemes.

Not bad price either at £11.70

I had an email from Special Hobby today about that Chukar drone kit, but oddly they only mentioned the 1/48 version.  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I really want to know which printer they are using, because this eclipses the quality I am able to get out of my Mono X2, and that isn't exactly a bad printer

E-mail them and ask, they can only ignore the question.

Bit odd Kit, but shows you one of the major benefits of 3D printing ; once you've got the "tech end design work" done, with a little bit of work you can produce it in virtually any scale.
