Cutting them from random clear acrylic sheet would be the easiest way to go.
You could go as far as making inset ledges for them, or simply gluing them over the backs of the windows on the inside.
They throw the stuff away all the time in offices, when they're clearing out old workbooks/manuals.

For the windows, what Rick suggested works well. When I design windows for my models, I make an inset behind the window and use that pattern to cut the material out of thin, clear plastic.

Here's an example from my Theseus 8x8 Amphibious cargo hauler:

We occasionally buy cookies or pastries in clear plastic containers that are PS. Very thin sheets.

I just cheat and get the clear styrene ..haven't brought any in yrs ..just don't use it offen .
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Must admit I haven't seen too much clear sheeting in the shops - if I need any, a random CD case provides...
But the acrylic sheet is easier to work and less brittle than styrene.

Evergreen styrene does it bud ..it's good stuff 👍

Good to know, thanks.

Thanks for all the input regarding the windows.
I have used used material form sweet boxes in the past for other models, with lets say "not so optimal" results. Have to see if I will go this way or try something else. A bit experimenting is required here.

Talking about experimenting, this s a 3D printed window. Ok, its not transparent, but I used the normal resin I had still in the printer. But it fits very good, I will definitely have to try this with transparent resin. Although this will not crystal clear in the end.

Worked a bit more in the interior, another quick&dirty fast print

And it fits into the cabin, so i can continue with this one.

Makes me want to get another M4 high speed tractor...wish someone would make a 35th scale M6 HST ..that would be awesome...much like this build 😆

While I still have to make a few adjustments to the body work of the snow tractor to make it better printable, the smaller "add-ons" care make with the resin printer

A few parts did not come out so good, so I have to modify them a bit. But the rest is painted now

And the (at least I hope so) final resin test print of the body work, its ok now. Will use this one to test a few things for the windows and the inside of the cabin.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
