Hello, the 4-track tank is finished, it is a reissue of an early Takom kit.
The fit of the parts was OK but not good.
The tracks cracked several times. These should be replaced.
Painted with Gunze and Ammo paints, among others.
And wheatering wth ammo products.

That's a stunner.

Exactly what I thought.

Sorry chaps but this thing is not meant for swimming at all..the hull is shaped like that to be with stand a nuclear blast and to operate on a nuclear battlefield.
The hull is shaped with a slight downward angle so the blast would push it into the ground...im not a hundred % sure but if I remember right the suspension can be raised so the hull sits on the ground too.
It's definitely has..well had a fantastic offroad abilities..ive seen video footage of this thing moving over terrain a soldier couldn't walk 😳

Always liked this tank, from the first time I saw a picture of the prototype. Done very nicely, a treat to look at.
