Quote from: NARSES2 on December 29, 2024, 05:57:51 AMAnyway I've decided 2025 will be a better year, everything crossed, and hopefully I might get some done in the first couple of weeks in Jan, but then I'm off for a week, so we shall see.

How cay you be off for a week when your retired?

Lack of a 'Honey-Do' or 'Daddy-Do' list? ;)

That would require Chris to be married ... or, at least, "partnered".

Lets just say that having lived on my own for 25 years this year any "full time" partner would kill me in a week. "honestly love I'm not untidy, just flexible with my placement of things"  . So a life that involves a lady who shares some of the same interests as me and also who likes a little bit of "me time" as well suits the both of us
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I am in a similar situation myself, although I have had partners for a while with whom I shared the weekends with.

Still no progress, but plans for when I get a few bits and bobs around the flat sorted, so I'm counting that as progress.

Also first order of the year places, although it will probably get me drummed out of the Hon Order of Water Rats as a) it's Airfix and b) it's 1/48

Ordered the new Lysander direct from Airfix and what with my member's discount and Hobby Reward points got it for about half price

Got around to taking some sprue shots of the new tool Airfix 1/48 Lysander. Looks very nice, but needs someone to come out with a canopy masking set  before I start it

That looks like fun!

Start making your own masks and by the time you've done that somebody will have produced an aftermarket set  ;)

Looks great.  A small additional sprue and a new decal sheet is all that'll be needed to make a Mk III.

Ditto actually a Mk II.
