I have finally managed to climb out of the mental anti-modeling hole into which I fell, and have decided, if only in the interests of clearing my workbench, to finish this bodge and continue on with some new ideas that have bounced into my bonce.  I apologize for the length of this - I was starting to get overwhelmed by all the projects in my head that I cannot build fast enough to actually get to do them ... I still have my Build List from 2018 - 13 items, and I only managed to get to 3 of those.  I'd have to finish them as I think of them to get them all ...

When I was doing my industrial delivery job I would often see electrical equipment tossed out near the loading docks, and if any Marrette connectors were visible, they were liberated. After raiding the decal stash, she's now got labels.    Since I don't really do 1/48, I suspect these decals mostly came from 1/72 bombers ...

So let me get this right. It's a Meteor fuselage, P-38 wings with scratched together engines? Love it! And the decals fit great.
