I can only imagine what a 1/25 white metal portable steam engine would weigh.

It's not a traction engine - ie it doesn't move under its own steam (sic).  It's a portable steam engine which would have been hauled around by some other form of motive power.  Probably horses.
I think the Sky Pirates will use it to power the winch they use to lift their ill gotten gains up into the airship.

The 3D printed paint pot gripper set arrived this morning!  :o

That was incredible, they came from Swansea, 2nd class in only TWO days!

One pot is already open  :thumbsup:  but the other one seems to be molecularly welded shut.  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Hmm, molecular, theres an idea.  Do you know anybody that has an ultrasonic cleaner? If you put in with some solvent or hot water it might help break the bonds. They can bought relatively cheaply if you've got another use for it.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I USED to have one at work! We cleaned servo-valve jets with it, and they had orifices only 0.015" in diameter!

I've got the navy version of the Skyraider ..very yummy 😋
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Well my first hit of the yr arrived today...Italeri 24th scale Truck Accessories set 2 ...I wanted the HIAB crane ..what I didn't know is the massive sheet of decals which comes with it 😳...truck decals anybody?? I've got em 🤪

The last score for now is a bushing removal and install set 😆 🤣
