The Rat

Working with Airfield Maintenance, I was part of the ground crew that launched this exact flight from YYZ (Pearson International Airport, Toronto) Lt. Col. Rosenberg was the pilot, Col. Don Bulloch was his RSO. Good times. You'll never forget sitting on the runway about 50 feet away from an SR-71 while it does a full-power run-up. Your whole body vibrates.

This thread could be the start of all sorts of tales, and not just SR-71 tales either.  :thumbsup:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
