- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I have a Skyly kit in my stash, too, and do not dare to build it because it has become more of a speculation object - the kit(s, together with the Sanka pusher fighter) are worth their price in unobtanium.
The kit is is insofar noteworthy that it has a (plastic) gearbox inside that actually lets the prop counter-rotate, what makes me curious!

Who makes the kit?

It may be notable that the 1/48 Lindberg kit of the Convair XFY-1 Pogo has similar gearing inside its prop hub. For some obscure reason I still have one of them in The Loft.  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Looks like a cross between a Martin Seamaster and the sub from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

Hehehehe, LOVE it!

There used to be a guy on the UK model railway show circuit who would laboriously take the numbers of ALL the rolling stock on every layout at a show! Notwithstanding the fact that quite a number of the wagons and coaches appeared on more than one layout!  :o

Love it!  ;D   As I've said before, when I see one of those big model railways having an 'open house', I get the urge to turn up wearing a Godzilla costume, and see if they'll let me in.  ;D
