The two do look a little bit similar.

Got to admit I am curious.  Do the Reban's have to pay for the snacks in said snack machines?

Also, while the Captain is obviously an important Reban I imagine the most important Reban is the crewmember responsible for keeping the snack machines loaded and in proper working order.

No, not really. Actually, the look is inspired by the cut-away drawings of spaceships in the Perry Rhodan universe, which is the setting for the Rebans. An placeing a movable gun in a cupola is not so unfamiliar at all I would think,

Hmm, a good question, but I think they do not have to pay for it.
And I am not sure who is more important, the Reban loading the snack machines or the chef in the cafeteria preparing all the other food. I guess, the cafeteria is the most important place on board at all.

The upper (or better said middle) level of the pole deck is painted and tested



More things added to the ground level of the deck. Rebans are happy now, the snack machine is installed.

I think there is no snack machine in the decks with the landing gear and the fuel tanks. But those are the places, where Rebans do no go so often.

Very important: The Snack machine storage, A Reban technician checks it before installation. I wonder if he gets a snack from there already.

Rebans now have entered the pole deck and testing the equipment. While one guy is testing the gun, the other is testing the snack machine. You have to set priorities.
