Just poke the ship with a black Sharpie of the correct size maybe?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Not that easy with the one for inside the VDS well Kit. The surface the window is on is recessed and at an angle. Easy enough to move a decal with a paint brush onto it but not to get at with a pen.

Earlier today I took advantage of the latest deal from Airfix who are offering 20% off for club members, so I ordered a couple of the reconnaissance Mosquitos, I also pre-ordered a couple of the Wessesexs.

Maybe try a bent piece of wire with a drop of paint on the end?

We don't have a Wiffie category for "Understatement of the Year" do we  ;)

0.5mm rivets ? I found these

Problem is they are positive head ones.

The Wooksta!

I had problems with the screws on the iMac I've dismantled to get the hard drive out - they were all these micey 6 pointed ones.  I thought they were Mac specific (they tend to do this sort of thing) but me Dad had a screwdriver set with the correct heads.

zenrat

I think they call the six pointed ones Torx heads.  You can sometimes hammer an allen key into them.

Years ago I bought a set of "security" screwdriver heads from Screwfix.  It has all sorts of weird ones.  So far it's always had something to fit.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That's ideal, now ordered.

I'm trying to work out the relevance to what the conversation is Lee. Are you sure you posted in the correct thread?

Chris mentioned positive head, I though "Starry heed" and went from there.  Tangents, cross porpoises and angry dolphins and all that perhetnares.

It's been an eventful couple of days. Yesterday morning I pissed off one of my work colleagues. She works by running the calibration checks for the units that I align as well as a few other bits and pieces. She had found a problem with an item and wanted me to do the paperwork to report the fault. I said no as she found the fault so she had to report it. She was not happy about that but ended up doing the paperwork anyway so that really set the tone for the day. Then on my way home, I was to drop off my car at the garage I go to for its MOT test, only problem was that the courtesy car had not been returned so would I mind delaying the MOT for a day? So feeling "rather miffed" I went and picked up some food shopping. When checking my phone I found I had a message from the courier company DPD who were to deliver my order from Airfix. So off to my local sub-post office to collect the parcel, only to find that DPD had not delivered yet. Not feeling very happy I headed home to have a calming cuppa. Later I returned to collect the parcel only to find that there was a new-start behind the counter who was not qualified to handle packages and the qualified member of staff still had ten minutes of his break left, could I come back later?
So getting "slightly annoyed" now I went home, cooked dinner and watched a TV show I like then headed back to get the parcel. It was not there! There was a parcel that was supposed to be delivered to another shop further along the street, so I headed there in the hope that my parcel had ended up there after all one for them had ended up where mine was supposed to be.
Guess what!
No parcel  :banghead:
At work today I spoke to the Logistics department for advice on what to do. The DPD website is good for booking a pick-up or tracking a package but nothing much else, certainly not help if there is a problem. The end of the work day comes around and I head back to the garage. Hurra! there is a courtesy car for me, boo, it's an automatic and other than on a trip to the U.S. I have only driven manual cars, including a column shift Zodiac. At least I only need it for one day which is basically drive to work, drive home, then drive to the garage to pick up my car. So not so bad. I decided on the way home from the garage to try one other shop that I know of as a DPD drop-off point. No joy with the package but the man behind the counter did give me a phone number to call, only my phone didn't save all of the numbers so I was thinking that I would have to go back and ask again, but with pen and paper this time!
So catching up on YouTube videos the doorbell goes, It's Yodel with a book I had bought, dirt cheap off eBay and full of information I can use. Back to the video for a while when the doorbell goes again. This time it was the local Window cleaner. Apparently he had been around during the day and cleaned the windows, could I pay him. So that was sorted out and I was back at my video about Nasa's Space Gun when the doorbell went again. Much to my surprise, it was DPD delivering my parcel! I was too shocked to ask why I got the message that the parcel was elsewhere the day before. The main thing is that now I have the two Mosquito kits I ordered last weekend when Airfix had a 20% membership discount.
I am so glad that tomorrow is a short day and the start of the weekend.

Also found out that Heather Kay's husband Paul died this morning. I don't know if anyone here knew him but apparently, he was well-known in the model railway community a while back.

What a palaver! Still, it all got sorted in the end and you have kits and book - all is right with the modelling world!

I take it that it wasn't you who won the £83,000,000 on Euro Millions then ?   No, seriously, we all have days like that. Just work on the basis that you got all the poo out of the way at the same time.
