Thanks folks.

Xmas 24 was bereft of model kits for me.  Three Lego sets but no "real" models.
However, Mrs z got me some brushes, tools, and diorama materials.
I also got a significant amount of gift vouchers for a city hobby shop.  All of which were spent on line on boxing day.

I appear to have started building an Airfix Firefly 5 over the last two days.  I should really have put it away after grokking it a few months ago.  It'll be a paint whiff with the only other mods being the replacement of the parts I have robbed for other builds.
Not much internal detail in the kit but I am impressed with the way the wing folds are modelled so they can easilly be built folded or deployed.
Current thought for user is Soviet.

I've found an interesting, if complex, Il-2 scheme I might use.  Three or fours greens and a tan.

Regular readers may remember I finished a Tiger models Panhard VBL which has yet to appear here in its own photo shoot.
I am building it a base which has gained a life of its own and got a bit bigger than intended.
