Actually, the Meteor kit is one of their newer kits. So overstock rather than old stock perhaps.

What's annoying is that pre-order costs don't count. Which is stupid.

The Meteor was their Club Exclusive kit last year, but it sold out half way through the year. My theory is that a delivery/production run was late, they've already rolled over to the 2025 Club Exclusive kit (Me 410) and now they've got too much stock.

It still retails for £25 mind you, so it's a decent free gift, whatever the reason. I've just got so many Meteors now that I don't need another one.

Reasonable theory. There's been a lot of problems concerning the Suez Canal and Arabian Sea, assuming they come from that part of the world that is ? My newest kit the Lysander's made in India.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Yep - the plastics might have been coming from India, the decals from Italy and the boxes from the UK. I suspect the plastics from India were late, so they cancelled the decals for them because they wouldn't be able to use them before the end of the year (when the Club Exclusive model changed). Then they arrived, so they ordered more regular boxes and decals for them, but now they're overstocked.

Same here, there is also nothing I want from their current avalibility that warrents a £50 buy.

To be fair, I'll take a Buccaneer S.2B and a new Typhoon FGR.4 and be happy with a Meteor for free, but the Typhoon is only on Pre-Order, so doesn't count towards the buy. Otherwise there's nothing else I'm interested in. I don't do WW2 stuff since I only care about speed; noisy, dirty, jet propelled speed.... yeah!

Weaver

I could maybe use another Phantom at a pinch, but that would still leave me £15 to make up.

The Typhoon release seems to be imminent, fingers crossed it'll arrive before the stocks are gone.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The stand that comes with the FGR4 Starter Set looks to be good for whiffing in its own right!  :o
