I like the look of the Odinn, like a little corvette type. The Ror looks like an offshore supply vessel, only darker and more gunny lol.

Probably served in the Cod War  ;)

Or the Cod War?

Remember that?   :-\

Ooh, did you visit the phallological museum?  ;D  Walking distance from where those photos were taken.

I went there before it moved to its current location.  Think before you order a hotdog in the cafe there!

Surprised it's never been twinned with https://www.vaginamuseum.co.uk/.

Ha, trying to convince two teenage girls to go there with their Dad isn't happening!

Strangely enough I have a professional interest. I worked in the realm of anatomy for twenty years. In that time, I  never managed to interest any of my family in going to an exhibition, willies or not!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Yes, it's a museum ship.  It's adversary is preserved in Hull, the Arctic Corsair. Odinn tried to cut Corsairs nets, so the trawler rammed it. They've made up a few years back by exchanging bells - shaking hands and letting the past go.

This is the Cadeler Wind Peak, a jackup vessel for installing wind turbines, launched in August last year. It's docked at the Siemens Gamesa factory in Alexandra dock, Hull. It's become a temporary landmark and the crane can be seen easily from where I live, about 6 miles away. You can see the hull is clearly out of the water, jacked into the air with the large stanchions at each corner. The turbine towers are next to it, ready for loading.

Here's some drone photos taken by Craig Marriot on a local Facebook page.

You definately wouldn't want to bump into it on a misty morning off the Yorkshire coast  ;) that's for sure.
