Quote from: PR19_Kit on March 17, 2025, 04:38:45 AMA bumper bundle of vintage Aeroclub stuff just arrived, which I'd won on ebay a couple of days ago.

There's no less than 22 ejection seats, various vacform canopies, including the bulged none for an early Spitfire PRIG, a four blade prop for a Spitfire XII, and the rarest-of-rare Spitfire contra prop!  ;D

I'll never need to get another ejection seat ever!

There's a couple of 1/48 items that I won't be needing, so does anyone fancy an etched brass Eduard detail set for a Spitfire Mk VIII/IX and some Model Technologies jet aircraft seat harness buckles? The whole of the latter set is about 6 mms square, they're only just visible!  ;)

And the whole lot at a ridiculous price too.

I'll take the Eduard Spitfire detailing set please.

This is BIG!  :o

And includes a full interior  ...  Well, it has to with all those windows  ...  But it makes the cost more bearable!

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

It's yours Trevor. By post or will you be at the NEC show? I'm thinking of doing that, but only thinking at the mo.

They're yours Phil. The only problem will be finding an envelope large enough to write your address label, and yet small enough so you don't lose the buckles in there!

PM me your address please.

Just bagged the Hasegawa 1/72 Boeing B-47E, so my interpretation of the MIT Project LAMP LIGHT is a go . Basically it's an armed AEW/ Interceptor Stratojet . Could be a bad idea as it was never built and no additional crew..

I also won the Sainsburys commissioned 1/24 Jaguar S Type toy car. I have seen photos of the Jaguar R two door concept model and intend to make my own version known as the Jaguar T Type.

HMAS Australia(II)?

I think not.

We already had an Indefatigable-class battlecruiser named Australia, commissioned in 1913 (a year before the first Queen Elizabeths were commissioned), but, as Australia was very "British" at the time, HMAS Queen Victoria is a possibility, with the second ship being HMAS Prince Albert (You have no idea just how many Victoria This' & Albert Thats there are in Australia! ).

Oh I can.  It's probably like the various Founding Fathers here in the States.  Heck, NJ we have five Washington Townships and a Washington Borough, 4 Franklin Townships (and a borough named after Ben Franklin's estranged and illegitimate son, and last Royal Governor, William) and a pair of Hamilton townships

I had a Big H parcel arrive with the Spitfire Mk IX exhausts for my Delgaty today, and because the p&p would have cost more than the item I added a couple of other items too, an SAC white metal landing gear set for my 1/144 RAF Transport Command C-133 Cargomaster and a couple of resin ejection seats for my Tornado F6.

Of course I probably don't need the latter now as I may have some in that bumper bundle of seats that I got the other day.  :banghead:

Diverse collection  . The Queen Liz does look nice and at 1/350 will be quite big as well I suppose.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It will be 55.71 cm or 21.94 inches or just over a cubit in length.
