Forgot to mention: this is a left-hand drive. Not sure whey they don't offer a right-hand version.

EDIT: Found a build video with a right-hand drive model, so I guess they sold righties in Britain and lefties elsewhere.

For the same moulding? That's most unusual for a manufacturer to make both RH and LH moulds for the same kit.

The only one I've ever come across like that before is the Tamiya Volvo 850 Estate car. The road going versions are all LHD, I guess because most sales, both model and full size, were like that, but the BTCC Race car model is RHD because the real thing, only two of them, were RHD.

The kit came with those horrid little paint pots, most dried out. I managed to restore the green, but it wouldn't spray and was very streaky when brushed, so this one is going to be red. Correction: it already is! To hold it in place while painting I attached it to an empty Tamiya bottle with some double-sided tape. The bottle is heavy enough that it won't move with the spray.

Major assemblies are done. Interior is Tamiya XF-59 Desert Yellow, not sure what the real ones had but I like this one. Creases in the seats were darkened with a dab of Tamiya Brown Panel Line Accent Color

Some more Tamiya brown accent color on the exhaust system

That's looking very good Ratty, and belies its small size too.

Can't believe I did this without a disaster

IIRC Hasegawa put LHD and RHD dashboards in at least one of their kits (the Jaguar XJS).

Having a choice of LH or RH drive parts is not unusual in Japanese made kits of cars sold in both markets.

Looking good Ratty.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

First car model in about 50 years, E-Type Jaguar. Airfix, 1/43rd scale. Not a bad little kit, but not for the serious modeler. Side windows needed some filing to fit properly, but everything else was a fairly good fit. Headlight glass could be smaller.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
