This is an interesting idea for a GB, so I had to check what is left in the spare part box.

Lets go back to the early days of passenger jet aviation, so the mid to late 1950s. Not everything that was designed those days really worked, so with what was found in the spare part box, this will be the Saab 100 passenger plane.

The fuselage is  from a Caravelle kit, the wing from a Lockheed Constellation and I have to see where all this ends.

Lets start with the wing, no propeller engines on this one, so putty & sanding to fill all gaps.

The fuselage, why not to put the wing on top?

Just a test how it could look like

And for the engines, this will be a special Swedish design....

And why not? It worked fine for the F-27 and the ATRs too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

This is very interesting for sure 🤔 👌
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

It reminds me a little of the Scott Furlong Ltd Sovereign.

Funny you should say that, I was thinking JUST the same, but Nonobar's one is a lot prettier with the Comet nose.

Like the use of spare bits to create a something.

I got a Horsa vibe, so my mind went to a towed Glider Airliner that can go to regional airports after release from a tow airliner on a trunk route

Or the super cheap seats for paackage travel to Majorca in the late 60's  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Have to remove the former wing mounts at the lower side of the fuselage

Instead, the landing gear will be placed in there. A first quick&dirty FDM print to check dimensions and shape.

Putting all together for testing
