- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Time availability is as vaporous as the mojo. There is always someone willing to help me stay occupied doing what they think is important. Even when I think I have an entire day ahead of me I suddenly find myself at a shopping mall or some such crap. I put my foot down one day a couple of weeks ago and had a really nice day getting some stuff done for a change. I need to do that again.

Yesterday, the lovely Mrs P and I took our 16 yo to a concert with her favourite band. It's one of the great domestic bands here, still being played on the radio every now and then, and as they're one of Mrs P's age old favourites. Somewhat unexpectedly, they have also caught the attention of our mid lass, and this has, over the last two years at least, been young Ms P's go to music, whether happy or sad, working or chilling.
As they haven't released any new material since 2016, it was kind of a big thing when, after almost nine years of silence, a few months ago, they suddenly released a short film, or rather commercial, outing their one-off return to the stage in three (later extended to six) concerts. Both ladies were excited beyond reason, but when the release date for the tickets came, the system clogged up and we were left without tickets as the three arena events sold out in less than four minutes. Thats 160 000 tickets! Anyway, last week, just days before the concerts, I managed to source three tickets to surprise the lassies with, and yesterday we went. It's a two hour drive to the arena from where we are, so while it was a really cool experience, we didn't arrive home until well after midnight. Well worth it though, and seeing two of my favoutite persons in the world digging and singing along to every single tune for over two hours was rather unbeatable.

Lyrics translation:
As long as my heart is beating
I'll remember you when
You punched a hole in my kevlar soul

And you became a wound
And I'm bleeding to deathl
Come punch a hole in my kevlar soul

We can discuss the deeper meaning of that later.. ;)

Anyway - the lovely experience but maybe more the late returnis very much the reason for your's truly, already being somewhat worse for wear due to circumstances of which most of you are aware, is somewhat under the weather today. Or dull as a dodo, as a mate of mine once exclaimed after an especially heavy weekend.
Nevertheless, I will have to at least try to accomplish something to motivate my paycheck, today as  every day, and as today's task is even more dull that it usually is (well, ordinarily, I shouldn't complain, but..) I'm taking a small break to whine a little here, in good company. And perhaps to decide what to do with the two Hasegawa Drakens that will lose their 71N IRST's to the current Revell builds.

Speaking of plastic, another old Hasegawa F-102 appeared on our local Evilbay the other day, expiring today. I am severely tempted on one hand, but on the other, I haven't even decided what to do with the one I got just a couple of weeks ago. Decisions, decisions..

Well, well.. Back to the coal pit, I presume..

Been there, done that a couple of times, one fairly recently as well  ;)  and there's not many things that beat the feeling of making someone guenuinely happy
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I had a go, but someone else wanted it more badly. Ah, well. Now I won't have to defend just that procurement from the lovely Mrs P..

Well, unless you've been particularly naughty lately, you should have at least a small credit in the "Forgiveness" account, given the recent musical excursion. ;)

The recent amount of inbound Draken kits may have ended up in the other bowl on that particilar set of scales.. ;)
