Well done!  Obviously you have "advanced technobabble"  as one of your languages.

But it'd be easier if Fred could figure out a way to turn BS into an appropriate acronym

Yeah, 'LBLTISCSD' doesn't really trip off the tongue too well......................... :(

I was trying to read it, and then realized it wasn't a word... ya got me, Fred.

I'm working on it.  An earlier version was ALANs.
I think i've got it licked.  Compression Layer Inter-Turbulant Shearing...

   I'm working on the basis that it could be taken as a medical term. I've certainly heard it used as such as well as a vulgarity

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I attacked the resin 1/48 tail rotor parts today.  Cutting them up and combining them with the styrene Airfix parts and some scratch.
I've reinforced with wire where possible but its not going to be a very robust construction.

Rotor hubs in styrene never are, almost all model helicopter rotors are fragile, but there's not a lot we can do about it, and keep them 'scale'.

Yeah, but this hub is now resin and thus even more fragile.

That's why the wire in handy. I used wire reinforcements on my Rotocrane for exactly that reason as its rotor blades were almost twice as long as the originals, and wider too.  :o

Examination today showed the 5 minute epoxy I used yesterday to glue the resin hub part to a styrene shaft hasn't completely set yet.
I am hopeful time will cure all (sic).  It did allow me to correct a slight misalignment.
The rotors now have resin end fittings superglued to them with jumbo paperclip wire reinforcement.  These hub has D shaped male parts which fit into similarly shaped sockets on the rotors.  These are the joints I am worried about.  The D shape prevented me from extending the reinforcing wire through into the hub as I would have been trying to drill down on the flat part of the male D and it would not have stayed aligned.
Given the areas and tolerances involved I think liquid superglue might be the go.
