Brilliant bad idea this one ...as long as this tank doesn't have to cross a ditch deeper than 3 feet ...it'll be fine 😉

Brilliant as in brilliantly good or brilliantly bad?
I don't think it would be able to travel far enough to find a 3ft deep ditch
Brilliantly bad bud 😆
Smart arse mode now  ;D
The St  Chamond wasn't actually a bad machine for when it was designed..it could cross a 6ft wide trench with its boat nose ..that's designed to allow it to push up the other side of the trench ...if the trench was wider than it's tracks then a bugger moment would possibly happen and that 75mm gun ...mate a very good gun .
Buuuttt ..taking one to a super cold climate? ....oh not a good idea at all  ;D
Thus this  entire machine will freeze solid 👌 😄
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Hmmm... replace the crappy tracks with skis and put a large enough disk on the drive wheel so it can be used for traction. Or skip the engine and put a long team of dogs in front. Or reindeer.

I think the problem is to not find solutions but embrace stupidly bad ideas.

Yep ..and every one of those ideas are perfectly plausible

Quote from: Mossie on March 31, 2025, 09:33:10 AMEmhar did an A7V in 1/72. I've built one, nice little kit.  Hard to find at the moment but not impossible, at least in the UK.

I remember seeing the Emhar kits everywhere and they were a good price too. I thought it would make a good subject for this whiff but now I can't find one anywhere  :banghead:

Always the way. You ignore stacks of cheap kits at shows but when you want one? None available.  :banghead:

Saying that - there's one on Ebay UK for £19.

As you say Nick.  Always the way.

Buy them when you see them as you might not see them again.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
