Quote from: Wardukw on April 01, 2025, 01:52:29 AMOK somebody needs to do something about this temptation problem cause it's bitten me again in the form of a Hobbyboss 1:35th scale Jackal 2 High Mobility Weapons Platform.
This will go nicely with my 6x6 Coyote  ;D

What? Only one?

I've got two of the buggers ... & a Coyote, too.  ;)

You think you've got temptation issues!

The previously announced Swedish Hasegawa Draken arrived today.

It is indeed a lovely kit!

I also got a small collection of the, over here, endangered Humbrol paint tins today. One have to get them when they appear, not to be stuck with the dreaded Revell tins..
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I'm just SO used to it by now, sometimes I think it really IS all my fault!  :o

I needed more glue.  Could I limit my online order to glue alone?

What do you guys think...

Well one has to bump the order up to justify the expense of the postage. Plus the more there is in the order reduces the CO2 emmisions per item when it comes to shipping and helps the climate  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Needs a kit to go with it I reckon. ;)

While visiting the only model shop for MILES around Inverness (it's in Dingwall, and almost impossible to get to by car!) I picked up a 1/72 Arma P-51B/C has it had such good reviews, and their first kit, the Hurricane Mk I, was magnificent. The Mustang's the same, superb mouldings, lots of extras (I got the Expert version....) and maybe 6 decal choices.

Well worth going there.

These two arrived today:

Simplistic part split, but the upside is a quick build. And the two seater makes so much more sense in our Northern Europe theatre.

Jumped on this in particular for the Finnish decals, thinking I would have to source roundels and serials elsewhere as I want the later, smaller ones, but on checking out the kit, they're included. Win!

Arriving much quicker than expected my glue was accompanied by some chrome paint (AK - Molotow refill proving hard to find) and one of these (because I liked the look of it in the box art).

Unusually for a Japanese kit it has the bonnet moulded open.  But there is no engine, inner fenders, firewall etc.  Hmmm, tempting...
