That might be changing tho if I build more armour .

I use medical gloves when I use an airbrush, but those single-use gloves are no good anymore. After 20 or 30 uses, they start to break..
Then your not being careful enough 🙃 😁😁
I get the 100 pairs box..cheap as even for here  :o
Mechanics disposable gloves tho have gone mental with the price  :o  :o
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Of course I too buy 100 pairs boxes, but try to have them last as long as possible, and more...  ;D
Didn't even know that mechanics used gloves, the new generations are gone soft.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Well I never thought ya wouldn't..it's only common sense after all   ;D
And yep we do ....they are much thicker than the medical gloves and are resistant to oil..petrol and so on ...also they save ya hands from being cut to pieces working on modern cars which are so damn tight space wise and Japanese cars have these spring clips which have pretty sharp edges ...they can make a real mess..this I know first hand..well both hands  ;D

I'm now working on the other side of the tracks (sic).

Bloody lucky those guns don't all fire at once or that'll end up on its side 😆 😂 🤣

Love it Fred 😀

It looks "a little bit" top-heavy indeed.    A really bad bad idea.
IIRC, you had the option of firing 2 barrels at the same time instead of 4.

Brilliantly absurd.

Nice work on the suspension adjustment, that goes a long way to making the build work.

That Rotodyne in the background looks like it's on super long landing gear ready to hoist some serious cargo pods.

Yeah watching these firing you see that the firing order is like top right then lower left then top left and lower right ✅️
Even tho it'd been super cool to see all four fire at the same time

And then the whole shebang would tip over backwards!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Originally set lower, Hobart's engineers lifted the gun mount so as to allow the Hedge Trimmer to fire over obstacles...

Fiddley bits today and then I went to glue on the tracks...

These are resin items by Resicast.  Each track assembles from a number of sections.  I followed the destructions, connecting the specified number of sections and I then painted and weathered them.  I should probably have test fitted them to check they were long enough before painting them but I trusted the aftermarket manufacturer would know what they were doing (and I hadn't attached the wheels anyway).
 :banghead:
Lucky Resicast give you spare sections.
I have one track attached and will fill the gap with a piece of the spares which I will then attempt to paint and weather to blend into the rest.
And it was all going so well.

Plan z is to use Tamiya's vinyl tracks.  But only if I absolutely have to as I really hate them.

I used to hate the old Airfix "rubber" tracks. When I built the Sherman as a nipper I got my mum to sew them together for me as no known glue in the then known universe would work. Or none I was allowed access to anyway  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
