Some of your strangest armour kits yet Martin, they look great.

DH.117 looks good too.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Nah, regular size, but the chaps had some paint left in the bucket, and, well, you know they just couldn't resist.  ;D

It's like having a little bit left in the airbrush, and you start looking for something to use it on instead of pouring a few miserable drops back into the bottle. I'm sure we've all done that.

only a week to go to the Scots Nationals in Perth.
So a fair number of new builds to show here from the last month or so...........

First up a Trio of jags.

So we have two Gulf war Gr1's from Italeri and a Jaguar International from Hasegawa.
All three built OOB with the Desert cats having decals from a model decal sheet and the Hasegawa bird using the kit decals. Paint work was Hataka for the Desert cats and Mig-Ammo for the Jag International.
What makes them whiffs is whats hanging under the wings (also above in the Internationals case)

On this one we have JP233 (short) pods for use on anything other than a Tonka.

And JP233 (long) pods on this one. I aslo change the mission markings on this one to give it more ground pounding mssions, the real a/c carried out quite a bit of recci work.
The short pods are basicly the forward section of the Tornado carried units fitted with a tail section.and armed with the Anti personal sub muntitions  The long pods are the rear section that have recived the same tail section and armed with the heavier concrete busting rounds.

At one point in the early developement of the what became the JP233 various versions were looked at so that various types other than Tornados could deploy them.
The down side to these versions is that it would take two aircraft to carry out the work of a single Tonka on a JP233 mission. So I can see why the other vesions didnt enter service.

The examples here are resin casts that I mastered myself. They may join the Odds & Ordanace rage in the near future. I built these two jags to see what they looked like mounted on to something other than a Tornado....
The Jag international is OOB bar stealing a spare drop tank from one of the Italeri kits.

It is carrying Freight dog Sabre air to surface missiles on the inboard pylons and SRAAM pods on the over wing pylons.  The Sneb pods are from the kit.
This build was a long term shelf of doom resident having been started around 8-9 years ago. I cant remember what the orginal plan for it was so here we are.......

Next up something a little smaller.

A Fujimi Alphajet also built OOB. again to see what something ive been working on looks like finished.
Decals from the kit, and I aquired the correct Gunze paints as per the instructions.

The pods on the inboard pylons are the add on's. in this case Matra combination rocket and practice bomb pods.
I found these on a drawing in an old Salamanda book called Modern Air Combat by Bill Gunston and Mike Spick. This drawing was for a Luftwaffe Alphajet with a vast selection of things to hang on it. One was this pod that realy caught my eye. So i started messing around with some exsisting O&O bits and a UK practice bombe pod I had lying around.. Again these may join the O&O range at some point but they still need a bit of work as they are still a tad rougth.

Now for the last one

This is the Gannet English Electric P8 two seater. Built OOB bar once again replacing the wing tip hardware. In this case Matra 530's from PJ productions that I picked up at Telford many, many moons ago
Halfords for the silver, Vallejo for the red. Decals from an Xtradecal Lightning sheet for 56 sqn.

I always hope for the best.

Two underrated aircraft, Jaguar and Alpha Jet, good to see them. P.8 is nice, the Matra missiles are an unusual touch.

Very nice as ever Martin. Are you going to make those SRAAM pods available , as some of those could be a useful addition to some of my future projects.

Half asleep  when reading your post. I didn't see any on his site last time I looked though, which is a shame.
