This is the very old Ju 388 AIRMODEL Vacu Kit, the fuselage should be completed with the old Matchbox Kit of the 188 , a kit that is one of the finest on my ever made list.

So i started with some additional parts of sheet in one side of the fuselage ( it would be better to do that at both sides as i found out later ).

Today i did step two and cut the parts out
and start the sanding job.

I'm not shure what kind of engines to build for this, maybe some reverse rotating twin props with very big blades and open spinner.

I had the luck to find some of the original Matchbox Kits.  I don't know why they are so easy to get here, it's a phantastic box Art and a real nice kit i think.

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep .
Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

As a lover of Junkers twins Herr Noizer mate I'll be keeping a good eye on this 😉 👍
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

mmmhhh, and what do you think about a four engine Junkers ?

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Nothing says you can't do one yourself.
Maybe change the engines; perhaps a jet version?

Then paint it as a night bomber, just so's it's a bit different?

killnoizer

Something like this.... I think a combi of that would be very good. 😃

Oh yeah.

Someone suggested that prop layout for my Ju 588, but with those HUMUNGUOUS radiators on the front of the DB 610s it didn't really need it.

Yes, those would combine very well.
I still like that build of Dizzys'.

I have glued some additional stripes of sheet in the middle, so the parts can be fixed together very easy and adjusted to the correct measure.

Unfortunately i made a big mistake with the clear parts and ordered a replacement  :banghead:

I did some research in my spare parts yard and found the perfect spinners for the engines.
They are 11,5 mm big, the original diameter is only 7mm   .

These droptanks at the left will be a good material to make the spinners

They will fit perfect in the rings at the front.

I have some pieces of the italeri 188 kit left, so i can use the complete rear wings and the wheels who are much bigger + better than the funny Matchbox things  ( green ) ...
