WOW! It even has a two tier end table in the front to hold your tea and book! :D
Seeing as it isn't a Challenger II tank and you probably would find one abandoned or overran I say "On Le Build"!
*side question* If you did find one where do you find ammo in the UK? I mean are there actually stores that sell rifle ammunition (You can beg buy or steal... ehh.. scavenge? And what caliber is that 'big' gun?

a few of these are in the car park of my local Territorial army base although they are in the "normal" sand brown. don't know if i will keep the 50 cal as you say were would you get more ammo for that beastie in the UK, might go for some kind of repeater crossbow like the Chinese made .

7.62mm is the NATO standard and every army in the free world uses it in either rifles, LMGs or sniper riles. Plus it will take a .308 Winchester round, a common rifle round I can buy case loads of at many places.
I'd try to find one of those MGs to replace the .50 'Hog'.

Trouble is, there just arn't the gun stores in the UK to restock from. There's exactly one in the medium-size town where I live, and I doubt they stock much more than shotgun shells for the hunting community and air-rifle pellets. Better than nothing, but it's not going to keep an M-16 going for long. Of course, if your local army base has fallen over then you can walk in and take what you like, although bear in mind that if it has, then it might well be full of very fit, strong, 6'+ zombies....

Didn't the Roman army have what amounted to a hopper-fed repeating ballista?

Try Plastruct, only one I know of. Their web site search system sucks but you can find what you need if you stick with it.

Wouldn't you like to be a bug on the wall when I order 40 scale feet of  'Schedule 4' 2 & 1/2 inch PVC with 20 screw-on end caps?

Are you thinking of the 20 barrel air powered arrow shooter?

I wasn't aware of that until I pulled up the attached Wiki article - so thanks   The Chinese used repeating crossbows. From my reading they worked fairly well. Not to sue how long the reload procedure was however ?

found a set of plans that i think i will use for the main weapon

just a open box on top which you use to fill with your bolts

a close up of the working parts

Replace the windlass crank with a 12 volt electric motor and this puppy would indeed be bad to the bone(heads)! A literal wall of bolts!

I missed what scale you are building in but in 1/35 scale Squadron has a whole line of resin plumbing fixtures. I suggest you look there.
