So am I, I must have had my mind on other things.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Pretty cool, I must say ! But the base is horribly out of scale....looks closer to 1:1

That's because I snapped the pictures on the driveway at my ex's, while we were still dating.  Unfortunately, I went to Iraq, and it barely survived.  :banghead:

Same here, first look. Surprising concept. Kind of a "American Su-15" but pure delta.

Thanks.  I've got a 1/48 scale version on the bench as well, but since it's based on the horrid old Monogram kit, I'm probably going to can it for spares and rebuild with the Trumpy version as the core

This one I've got buried somewhere on here (I think), with either designation- F-106G Delta Dart and F-38 Phoenix.

I do need to work the tailcode, since MM is Malmstrom AFB.  Can't really get away with using it for Morristown AFS.

And the actual squadron patch-

Revolutionary War Trivia- Morristown (NJ) was winter headquarters for Washington and the Continental Army, when the troops were encamped at Jockey Hollow, between December 1779 and June 1780.  And, arguably, more battles were probably fought in New Jersey than elsewhere in the Northern Campaign.  The joys of being a crossroad state between Philadelphia and Manhattan

If you're using the Hase 106, I found that lopping the tips off at the dogtooth made for an excellent fit for F-16 wings
