So the initial plan it to mix up a buccaneer and a skyraider into something twice as tough.

TWICE as tough as a Bucc?

It'll  have to be forged from solid slabs of unobtanium!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Maybe by the looks of it, all the weapon pylons and weapons. You can see the drop tanks already ---

To me I can see that the rear half of the fuselage is the Skyraider.

Rear half of the fuselage, maybe the drop tanks, you forgot the prop on the nose...... :wacko:
