So, no prize for guesing what I'm building. Alternate history, just haven't quite decided if the pivotal moment occurred in 1944, '56, or '68. Keen minds might want to figure out the possibilities associated any of those years.

Terrible fit on this kit, the wing-fuselage join is particularly ugly. It's the old Airfix FGA.9, which in this case will be the export version, FGA.57. No reworking, just a fictitious paint scheme and operator.
