Actually, the weathering is a bit over the top (but I enjoy doing it ), so I'm explaining it away as inferior Japanese steel & greater exposure to salty coastal environments.

Started on the tracks this morning but have to go & do this interfering "work" thing, now.

OK, it's 0245hrs "tomorrow" & I've half of one track done. which I'll try to finish off tomorrow before moving on to the other.

One track built into 3 x lengths, one track to go.

Then I can paint & fit them!

These tracks are a little easier to assemble than the others I've used.

Tracks  are my nemesis doing  armour  builds,  I  sigh with relief when I  see the lit has rubber  tracks on it or molded  track/road wheels,  as some  of the newer  kits are quite  detailed  now.  I admire your patience

So do I

I seriously despise rubber-band tracks, the vinyl they use to make them is impervious to all glues & paints. Connecting them together is bad enough but when all your hard work weathering the things cracks off & you end up with clean tracks on a dirty vehicle?!

They may drive me insane putting them together but I'm pretty much an indy track convert (either in the kit or after-market).

... Unless the kit comes with link-&-length styrene tracks.

I hide behind the couch  when i see link and length styrene  tracks.  The worst ones I have  worked with  are on the PST T 54/55 tanks in  1/72nd scale.....RUNAWAY!!!

I play in 1/35, so I doubt it's quite as bad as 1/72.

Righto! Still a lot of niggling faults but the only things missing are the tow cables & they're only a minor detail (until it breaks down ).
