I think it would  suit a very large torpedo  slung under the centre line,  and some heavy cannons  in the wings to keep Gerry's deck hands  heads down.

Next  in the pipeline,  is a 1/72nd scale  XB -51. I could  possibly be tempted by  one of these as it would  fit my build timeline,  possibly  switch the engines for a pair of Olympus  ones, should  make a formidable  rival to the Canberra.

Nikitin PSN-2.  Funky little torpedo bomber, however I'm thinking those finned floats look like something Savoia S-21ish.


SNCASO 9050 Trident II, real world French mixed power interceptor.


SNCASO Dever.  Saved the most spectacular for last.   French tail sitter paper project, follow on to the Trident project.

Gerry Anderson is alive and well and living in France.

"Wow. Which way up is it?"

"Yes."

"How does it fly?"

"Well according to the test-pliot's report, it's a bit over-dramatic and prone to flouncing at the least provocation..."

The Nikitin PSN-2 was a piloted prototype to evaluate IR guidance and autopilot (source - Bill Gunston's Encyclopaedia of Russian Aircraft).
It was intended to be a glide bomb type weapon carried under a parent aircraft.  Prototype was flown that way and also under tow.  I can only assume the weapon would not have had the floats.

The floats with fins (a very rare feature) make the PSN-2 a triplex-boom airplane somehow

I I were him I'd be inclined to hedge my bets and put them opposite ways up on both sides of the roundel, and the same but rotated 90 degrees on the wings...
