Hmmm?! Not sure I'm keen on the format/look but I'll keep rocking up, anyway, so, maybe, I'll get used to it. :-\

I imagine many of us are the type that are resistant to change, but I'm sure we will get used to the look.  Thanks to all those that keep my favorite site up and running.

If I misspell something, and my spelling is quite poor, then the miss-spelt word is simply underlined in red. Same as it was in the old version.
The spell check button was not only saying there is a problem but was proposing alternatives, quite often useful. Well, I try here once more to say maneuvrability, yes red but what is the good one? trying again and again? yes, maneuverability at the 3rd try.

"Manoeuvrability" is the usual British-English spelling. I can't speak for New Zealand though. I wonder what locale the site is configured for?
Cheers.

I agree, Nils.   No doubt on time we will learn to use and enjoy all of the new features.   Thank you comrade Overscan for your work on the site!

Found myself suddenly logged out, but against all odds, it seems I actually remembered the password. So far, so good, then..  ;)

Same here.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Yes, its a bit different, but hopefully not too different. Its still the same basic software, just 2.1 versus 2.0.

When making a reply note that you can now toggle between WYSIWYG mode and source code mode (where you see the bbcode markup) using the toolbar button at far right. WYSIWYG mode should be easier in most circumstances.

You can also toggle between normal reply mode and full screen reply mode with the preceding "full screen" button.

Adding attachments to posts is doable, but I think needs an executive decision from the board admins.

The layout will take some getting used to.

From saturday evening, I found the font a bit large. I went and changed my browser settings for the site to display at 90% which works better for me (Firefox on Windows 10).

I just have to try to add a pic, ok..

Yeah. Looks fine!

Initial feedback was the text was too small.... So I made it biggered. I've pulled the size back a bit - maybe a compromise position?
