For this change of position of the model, I am going to use something incredibly unusual for me: undercarriage! One piece of it will be enough <_<

Looks like you stuck the head of a fish on to the tail of a DC 10in a couple of those photos Tophe  ;)  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

And here is the result with wheels perfect to make it in the right direction.
What? The Wheels are not under the wing? Yes, there are just somewhere on the bottom side (my McDo-10+ is not a flying machine but a decoration object for shelves or desk.) <_<

Then, following the "4th prototype" decision, I started to glue one "wing engine" on the tail, and I like the result: <_<

Later, when it seemed solid enough, I glued the last engine, and I don't regret to have chosen this incredible (very whif) layout rather than single engine. This evening, if solid enough, I may start to paint the underside: <_<

And the McDonald's MD-10+ is now finished! Don't you recognize the huge DC-10 it was in a previous life? Actually, this single-seater is much smaller, like a new born baby plane: <_<

From 4 angles, now the DC-10 family belonging is clear, no?: <_<

On this profile view, the DC-10 lineage appears at its best. For the wheels, it is also clear this is not at all a retractable undercarriage to run on a runway but fixed wheels to have the model in the right direction despite weight balance.

Quote from: PR19_Kit on August 22, 2022, 01:05:14 AMActually the MD11 is a different, enlarged and improved DC10 rather than just a rename, and better looking for it, to my mind too.
Yes, the same occurred with the McDo-10+, but instead of a 7% increase of passengers with the MD-11, this happened to be a +100% increase with the MD-20+ (perfect for twin-brother pilots).

Thanks a lot for this approval of my crazy dream, turned plastic more or less ;)

I have shown the 4 classical angles to see my model, a little from above, but... no more room in my shelves. So the model is standing in the few centimeters in front of books, on a high shelf, seen partly from under :-\
