Strewth, the 3D missile costs more than the C-133 kit. 

I have seen a few line drawings of a C-133 with a rotodome on the upper fuselage so an AWACS version would be an alternative build.

Use an AWACS radome but pattern the supporting structure after that supporting the E-2 radar used on the AEW version of the C-130?

Well I did try that out in 1/72 scale on the Convair RB-36H but it looked a bit small in comparison to the E-3 rotodome besides I didn't have the stand for it from the Airfix/Heller Boeing E-3A/C kit.  That's why I chose the Cammett BAe Nimrod AEW.3 radomes.

I love those roden 144th scale kits. I need to get off my arse and finish a couple of them.....including the RAF Cargomaster C.1

The best memory I have of a C-133 was one day here at Prestwick, a beautiful sunny day as one broke into the circuit, against a blue sky, over the house as I was heading out to school. Sadly not RAF!

I don't think I've EVER seen a C-133, and worse, never heard those 4 x T-34s, which was apparently a never to be forgotten sound.

Unlikely to at the price, but if I bought one, it'd be a real world water bomber.  It's often surprising, some of the eclectic types that have been converted for firefighting.
