I've opened the box on mine a couple of times and put it back. Looks really nice, but I need to be in the mood to tackle all that detail especially the interior. Not 100% sure about the instructions either, but then I've not gone through them in detail, just browsed as such.

I must admit my purchase was influenced by the write up in the Airfix mag.
All the RAAF aircraft featured on the transfer sheet are shown having non bulged canopies so an instant whiff can be created simply by using the Malcom hood.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

On sale at a local shop, $27 Canadian down to $18, the AMT 1/48th Grumman F9F Panther. A sticker on the shrink wrap says "Retro Deluxe Edition, Enhanced Reissue Featuring: Expanded Decal Sheet, Updated & Improved Parts, Molded in Color" Haven't the foggiest idea as to what will happen to it, but I like early jets, so couldn't pass it up.

Just bought a rather obscure kit via ev!lbay from a German seller, a vintage Imai 1:144 Nousjadeul-Ger mecha suit (from the Macross TV series) from 1983, for a reasonable price.

I have the original AMT 1977 release of the Panther, the Retro-Deluxe version was released in 2013
by Round2.

It's a very simple kit and designed so it can be built gear up, thus perfect Whiff-fodder.

Mention of Round2 reminded me, the MPC Monkeemobile is being rereleased. It may even be at your favourite e-tailer already... thinking of You, Fred.  ;)

zenrat

Thanks Rick.  One of my favourites which up until now I have resisted buying for some reason.  Maybe it's time...

I can remember the Monkee's on the Beeb immediately after the classified football results on a Saturday. I'm getting old  :-\
