Why does it have Roos on the fuselage roundels and just blobs on the wings?

It does look VERY smart, I like those colour bands on the fin muchly.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Thanks folks.

Kit - As far as I can tell the Roos were phased in gradually.  Initially only being used on the fuselage.  Most (but not all) pics of Avon Sabres have Roos on the fuse and blobs on the wings.  Maybe there was concern Roos on the wings would not be recognised?
The serial number I have used is a specific Avon Sabre.
The tail markings are from an RAAF Mirage F.III Novascale set.  They are a bit late but I have no early RAAF squadron markings.

I started painting the UC parts today.  I still need to make a decision about its payload.

Why do you think in certain parts of the UK it was slang for attractive young ladies  I was told by my ex that they used it the other way at the time as well.

Oh, "tasty" in respect to attractive young (even older) women I'm quite familiar with, historically & currently, & fully in agreement with!

Looks awesome!
We're they actually natural metal or painted a silver paint?

Painted as far as I'm aware. There might have been the odd natural metal one but not many.

Erm, the RAAF didn't operate Hunters.........................

I know that Kit, I meant that generally they were painted Aluminium when not camouflaged, rather than natural metal.
