Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I had a feeling when I typed that someone would comment...

The shelf is where I keep some of the larger unbuilt models but even so I don't think there is room for you.

One day to go.  GB ends Midnight local time October 14th - That's the Midnight between October 14th and October 15th.  In order to be entered in the poll your work must be posted in the Finished Build thread before it is locked.

Good luck to all of the entries,  unfortunately I didn't get to finish my build but it will be finished sometime soon.

We need more amphibious fighter aircraft designed to operate away from vulnerable airbases and also on water including the roughest seas

So which do you see this being based on - Lightning, Hunter, or Canberra?

This January 1955 drawing illustrated a future F2Y concept that borrowed design elements from the F-106A as the original Sea-Dart shared design features with the F-102A. This variant was to have been powered via a single General Electric J-79 that was earmarked for the B-58A Hustler. Would the aviation world have been ready for a Mach 2 seaplane fighter? Yes but with some modifications such as close mounted canard foreplanes a bubble canopy a MIG-21 style tailplane a cranked arrow double delta wing with the wingtips cropped & replaced via AIM-9 rails & twin engines with the choice of J79-GE-J1Es  F414-EPEs or F110-GE-132s.

So, none of the above then.
Which begs the question why did you post your comment here?

Do you look at the threads you post in or do you just scatter your comments at random across the forum?

In future I think we should lock GB threads once they're done and dusted, as this one has been for the last SIX MONTHS!   :banghead:  :banghead:
