Thanks guys! The metallic finishes are all Vallejo Metallics - variations and mixes of their aluminum shades. These are by far the best metallic colors that I've used. They brush paint fairly well for a metallic paint, but airbrush beautifully. I did no prep on the plastic; -  just cleaned off finger prints and cat hairs and sprayed away. The nose section was masked off and sprayed with semi-matte aluminum and I had no issues with the previous layer coming off. I wish the rest of their paint line was as durable.

Flory Models did a video review of the paints back in 2015.
