My fellow moderator Kitbasher will post the rules for this GB this weekend and then (hopefully) all your questions will be answered.

A FedEx SR-71 has already been done before. I've seen plenty on Facebook. And I'm pretty sure a DHL version has been done too long ago.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

I have read the rules:  "'Logistics is the process of planning and executing the efficient transportation and storage"
If I build an INefficient transport system (plane, truck or whatever) would it be eligible for this GB?   ;)
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

We know where you live and we will be knocking on your door soon  ;)

Question 1 will be to ask you to define 'inefficient'!

I can think of an American trucking company, who's name is synonymous with "rapid" or "fast", and they tend to be anything but.

This is good timing, I've learned about a planned project, just have to decide between two ship classes.  Their cheap kits are about the same price.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

You cannot view this attachment.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Well....
It is supposed to be a whif... So what if they were inefficient.......

The Rules mention storage or shelves....  Somebody with a decent printer, Photoshop and Origami skills could create a shelf full of What-If kits that were never produced. I'll buy them a beer if they include the Farley Fruitbat!

A thought: What about vehicles that do not actually carry the cargo but enable the cargo carriers to reach their destination efficiently - or at all? Icebreakers, snow ploughs, vehicles to cut a track through the jungle?

Gondor

An easy whiff would be an RAF A400 with the refueling pods.

This was discussed by the mediators and we decided to restrict the group build to machines, contractions, etc. that are actually engaged IN logistics, not just helping logistics.
So a diorama could have a snow plow followed by one or more trucks but not JUST the snow plow.

I plan to join in with an A400 what-if ----- but it will be quite different   ;D
Already made some enquiries for certain parts I need which, following a reply to an email I had sent, is looking promising
