Well update time...still playing with this thing..the body and interior are painted and so is the engine.
I'll start the putting it together phase soon ..few more details to go yet but nothing to extravagant..brake lines and the like.
Just waiting for some decals to show up which should have been posted two weeks ago and weren't..which pissed me off a wee bit as their needed now and without those I can't finish the building part..which has not made building come to a grinding haul but its bloody close.
The interior is painted in white..black..2 grays and sliver..I didn't have any acid or lime greens and one of my LHS's don't have any either .
Ammo do make that colour but like everything else here..out of stock...bugger.
The body shell is black and light gun metal gray with a chrome metal strip along the sides..it looks pretty good..better than I thought it would to be honest.

Nice job on the Left to Right conversion and I love the exhaust exits.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

What Fred said. ^^^^^^

I'm STILL trying to do the left> right conversion on my Tamiya Volvo 850 Estate, with considerable lack of success. :(

Excellent work.   Just needs the cheatline to be red to make it the A-Teams second ride.  ;)
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Wardukw

I kinda screwed myself with those exhaust exists Fred..I was going to use that idea on ECTO..

That lads is the first left to right hand conversion ive ever done and im glad it was a simple dash ..I don't remember what a 850s dash looks like Kit but it's modern so it's gonna be annoying ill bet.
It's like the dash i want to use in Ecto ..that might be a total pain and I might just be lazy ....but...I don't remember  ever seeing a RHD caddie ambulance before of this age .

Hahaha Mossie ..now I look at it  ;D

It looks like this :-

You cannot view this attachment.

The problem is the centre section, outlined in red, is angled toward the driver, and on an LHD car that's the wrong way for an RHD car of course. I only have one dash panel to use so I've been trying to mould new centre sections to play around with, but had litte sucess so far.

DUKW, there's nothing stopping you from using the same idea on another model, is there? ;)
Unless, of course, you don't want to... in which case, I'll keep quiet.  ;D

Wardukw

Hahaha Rick .. oh trust me the idea to use it is still there but I might change it up a bit ...could be cool or it might suck so some checking will be needed  ;D

Kit I can see your dilemma and your right mate..you'd have to remold the crash pad backwards..or try green stuff or any other epoxy putty to reshape it ..that might be alot easier than casting one.
