I'm thinking SEAC or Tiger Force for mine, but then I would  ;D

It does look nice

Great to see all these Eagle Tempests getting built now, they will keep my scratch-built effort from years ago company. Even though I used a Brookland Museum supplied 3-View to build it, I might just buy one of your's Colin, just to see how close I got it.

Personally though, I don't think a Python Tempest would work, the difference in fuselage size between a Wyvern and Tempest puts it in a different class.

And I love the idea of a Tempest Reno racer, it'd give those P&W engined Sea Furies a run for their money.  ;D

Mind you, talking about Python conversions, I'd like to see Colin and his colleagues have a go at this conversion.

Thank you Dominic for posting pictures of the first build up example. It had become a long tradition right up to last Telford that Mike McEvoy would build up the first example of my SMW release(s) for display. This year Dominic kindly agreed to step in and take up the challenge, which he has done admirably, having received the first casting around two weeks ago.

I look forward to seeing it on show on the SIG tables in just under two weeks' time.

Good news from CMR also received today, the Mustards and their canopies are on their way and should arrive this Thursday. This will allow me to finish the profiles in good time for release at the show.

Bring on the Reno racer next please!

Colin

Dave at Combat Kits are working on the Python Lancaster testbed, hopefully for release early next year.

I can think of 2 or 3 additional Eagle Tempests and an Eagle Sea Fury on this forum.

Yes Kitnut617's right, I don't see a Python Tempest working unless a Tempest II is used.  Better still, given that the new hefty nose the Python would cause the cockpit to be raised to give the pilot better forward vision, a Sea Fury.  This being whifworld and all inconvenient stuff such as CofG, jet eflux, etc, can be easily sorted out.

Quick and dirty old school cut and paste Sea Fury with a Python front added is attached.

Do it, DO IT!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I have a spare PM Sea Fury in the stash,  bits in the spares box and plastic sheet, just need an Aeroclub Wyvern white metal propeller.
