Second everything above.

You'll be back, just don't get rid of your stash.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That's so true Capt and they don't take any time at all.

Always enamored by the RAF Hercs, I decided to build an A400 with thos greens, all patchy and special ops like. Honestly tho, no idea where the heck it is now......looked pretty much everywhere  :banghead:

The camouflage paint is working well.  ;D

Looks like it fits a lot better than the 1/72 scale version!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I actually found it ! Remember a couple years ago I posted some pics of all the places I've stashed stuff in my house ? I went " hmmmm " and looked up in the spots I made in between the floor joists, and boom !

Hi everybody !

Been a bit since I last reported. Work on the bench has been steady but slow. I was pressing to get a model railroad project done for a friend. Since it is a whif in it's own right, I might make a thread for it.
Aside from that project, I have started modifying a pair of HO scale  Rocco Minitanks Leopard ARVs. I have 4 of them, and since I don't really need 4 on my military rail load, 2 of them will become Badger AEVs. Pretty simple mod, especially in this wee scale. The trouble will be adding enough detail to make them look believable. I'm sure any obvious shortcomings can be handled with paint and weathering.
In the real world, I've celebrated my 25th anniversary at my job. They rewarded me with over 40,000 points, which is a system we use called Energize, where you can recognize colleagues and award them. The 40g plus the 5 I already had equate to about 2200 USD, so not bad ! I used them up on useful items and frivolities alike. A Yamaha acoustic guitar, a ride cymbal and stand for my drum kit, 2 different Minichamps 1/12 scale Valentino Rossi figures, a Bertello pizza oven, and a bunch of gift cards and other sundry items. The model kits, all 144 scale, are a Roden Rivet joint, and Mikro Mir Beverley, Argosy, and Valiant. I figured I'd grab things I'd otherwise never buy !

I've been eyeing the Mikro Mir Beverley, and you just know that I want to put a hull on it! Ditto for an AW Argosy.
