Second that.

Cheers gents.

I'm sleeping fine at the moment (touch wood) and for longer than usual, so my body is seemingly trying to catch up on rest whilst it replaces the blood it lost. I definitely don't intend pushing it that's for sure  ;D

There was trauma, not just blood loss, & your body's response to trauma is to sleep while it tries to heal itself.

So, sleep as much as you need to, eat well &, just maybe, keep off the alcohol for a bit. ;)

Cheers gents.

I had the third medical related issue today (my old mum always said things went in threes). I take 5 tablets a day regular prescription wise and that prescription is renewed every 8 weeks.  Well the next 8 week set starts tomorrow so I picked them up during the week and got the first weeks out this morning ready for tomorrow. Now one of them had a different name and was a different colour so I thought I'd better check the enclosed leaflet as since Brexit I've had generic examples of my medication rather than the branded version on a few occasions due to shortages. Read the leaflet and it didn't mention blood pressure at all, so better safe than sorry I thought I'd pop up the pharmacy. Lets just say that someone is in serious trouble up there. Completely wrong drug. The guy in charge sorted it there and then and very efficiently but he wasn't very happy about it as it involves two people, the dispenser and the person who checked and signed it off. They'd actually put a label with the correct drugs name on it over the incorrect name on the box. First time it's happened in 40 years of regular prescription medicine, but then it only has to happen once. Just glad I always check what I get, especially since Brexit.

Oh well, hopefully I'll actually get some modelling done this week, although I need to start getting Xmas stuff and writing cards

That could have been very dangerous Chris! Well done for checking the stuff as it came out of the bag.

I do that myself now and then, and I think I'll try and make a habit of it now!

A very sensible attitude, Chris.      In your present condition........congratulations on still being alive!

Wow, that's amazing- and unacceptable. Heads may need to roll.
Glad you had the foresight to check!
How many other examples have there been? Hopefully they will check and review!

Good Lord, Chris! Good work!
I have a local and very engaged pharmacist who's doing all of mine (and making a decent living out of it as my cancer limiter costs a fortune and he's got a percentage) and he has, so far, done a great job. Tbh - he's generally so much better than the competitors that I'm almost embarrassed on their behalf. Everyone should have one like him.

Anyway - I'm very glad that you're on track. Stay there!
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Feeling slightly sad today as they finally demolished Redcar No 1* Blast Furnace Demolished. Was always such a symbol of British Steel (or what ever it was being called that week) and indeed Redcar.

* They'd always intended building a No 2 and thus if you worked for BS you'll always refer to her as No 1  :-\

Finally managed to pick a scalpel up yesterday, first time since my little accident, so quite happy about that. Only got 45 minutes work or so done on cleaning up some parts on the Hornet, but heh it's progress
