Quote from: Freightdog862 on November 19, 2022, 07:50:11 AMHello all, the remaining Telford stock of Mustard Gliders and P.1027 Tempest bundles (with KP kit) are now listed on the website and available to order.

Sorry I have not posted since Telford, I had to go back on shift at 7am on Monday and today is my first day off since the show.

Thanks,
Colin

I will put aside no problem. If you just want the resin its £13.00, message me and we can sort at the end of the month.

Thanks,
Colin

Thanks for that Colin. At that price as it includes the kit I will only want one and that will have to wait untill the end of the month so can you please put one to the side for me please  ;)

Hi everyone, I've added the P.1027 resin parts only to my website, for those who don't need the KP base kit.

It's a class piece of casting
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

What Chris said. ^^^^^^^

I bought an Eagle conversion from Colin at Telford, without the Tempest kit as mine will be going on something else.  ;)

It's a superb piece of moulding, and I was pleased to say I was able to congratulate the original master maker, Paul Lucas, who was standing right next to me as I was buying it.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Just ordered a MUSTARD glider.

Any chance of doing those Sabre missiles from the Hawk conversion as a seperate item?

Quote from: elmayerle on November 07, 2022, 11:10:32 AMThe concept of a "Raspberry Ripple" Vulcan could entail quite a paint job.

But it would look MAGNIFICENT!   ;D

I was thinking on this when it was originally mentioned. I know "Raspberry Ripple" SCREAMS test and evaluation (in all it's various guises) but I personally like/prefer the idea of the light grey and red scheme seen on some of the Hawker Hunters and other aircraft in a slightly earlier time-frame to Raspberry Ripple. A grey Vulcan with red 'detailing' would look pretty different (mmmm.... there's an idea for a spare 1/144 Vulcan model!  ;D )
Y;know, that might be a somewhat less expensive paint scheme in 1/72.  Let me think on that.

Apologies to anyone waiting for their order. The day job became full on the Monday after SMW. I've finally got a few days off so hope to catch up early this week, and respond to messages to.

Thanks,

Colin

No rush Colin: do what you can, when you can.

I've built absolutely nothing this year, for the first time in ages, due to my own problerms and situations, though some of those are hopefully coming to an end shortly.

I will try and get some Sabres cast up on their own soon. The Mustard might be a good mojo restorer, or just take your mind of your troubles, I bult up the test one in a couple of hours. Your order is going in the post tomorrow.

I also have not finished anything this year (or the few before!). I made a start on an Airfix fabric wing Hurricane as a Mike McEvoy tribute back in January. I got about halfway in a week or two but put it aside as I wasn't happy with the fit/joints. After 10 months I picked it up again and managed to get it to the stage of being ready to paint, hoping I could get it done for SMW but realized rushing wasn't going to work. So, I still hope to finish it, maybe not before Christmas but hopefully soon. It won't be a masterpiece, but then again Mike would just be impressed that I had finished something, so I will push on.

Can't believe it's a year since Mike passed away, time flies by too quickly.

Colin, you will get that Hurricane finished by Christmas, just not necessarily this Christmas!

That started as a great motivational speech, right up to the last 5 words!

Colin, got your email today about my order being delayed because the Buccaneer We.177 set is out of stock but expected soon.  Tried to reply but the email got kicked back.  Just send at your convenience when the Buccaneer set is in!

Nick
So I got that going for me...which is nice....
